About the Library
| The Library is a vibrant and valued resource within the school. It provides study and research facilities and many additional services for all pupils and staff.

Stock and Facilities |
The Library contains almost 12,000 items of stock, including books, audio books, CD-ROMS, DVDs, videos, magazines and newspapers.
Library stock is controlled by Eclipse.net
the Library Management System. Staff and Students are able to search for resources using SEARCHSTAR the electronic Library Catalogue.
The Library has eight networked computers and one printer copier scanner. All are Internet linked with Library staff in attendance at all times. All computers have a wide range of generic and subject based software installed.
Library Use
The Library can be used by all students for many purposes – quiet reading, private study, individual research for homework or projects.
Code of Conduct
To enable the Library to run efficiently, users are required to follow the rules of the Library as issued in their induction package. Food and drink are not allowed in the Library especially chewing gum. Bags should be kept under the tables and no coats brought into the Library.
Respect for others should be upheld at all times. Internet access and printing out of work should be asked for each time and permission given by either the Librarian or the support staff.
